There is all manner of speculation about Parcells possibly opting out in Miami. Apparently, there's a 30-day window. Maybe that would be a good fit. Of course, he'd have to be given authority to clean house, the way he did in Miami.

I would love to see Parcells come through and clean house in Detroit. Sadly, I don't really see it ever happening.

As long as William Clay Ford remains owner of the Lion, nothing will change.

I was just talking with my Dad about the Ford's, and he remarked that in his conscious football life, the Ford's have always been in charge and someone's always been complaining about them. He was 2 when they won their last title, so that's say something.

I can't tell you how happy I was when the Detroit Lions actually finished 0-16-0.

The Lions suffered a marathon of defeat yet simultaneously achieved an important historical & statistical victory.
