Oh, the Cowboys score 17 points in the fourth quarter with the lead and still lose? I'm sure it's Romo's fault somehow. Seriously Monte Kiffin needs to go.

His completion percentage was under 50% for the game. Certainly, the defense deserves a significant amount of the blame, but the quarterback always bares a disproportionate share of the blame in any loss.

That's the thing with Romo though. He statistically has always had a very high QBR and completion percentage but nobody cares. All anyone wants to talk about is his fourth quarter performance. Well this time he actually didn't have the stats early but walked into the fourth quarter with a three point lead and then threw two more TD passes. Keep in mind he had a lot of drops and was also forced to throw the ball away often due to the beating he was taking at the hands of Fairley and Suh. Unfortunately, the defense turned into spectators as soon as they took a two possession lead. No matter what he does the team always seems to find a way to put the entire game on his shoulders. They simply can't hold a lead.

He is currently sitting at 18 TD's to 5 Int's with a completion percentage of 66.1% and a QBR of 101.7 but they are still 4-4. Romo may be on pace to have the best season of his career. Unfortunately, he is partnered with the worst running support and defense he has ever had in his career. Very frustrating to watch his window closing while the supporting cast withers away.

There is this sick part of me that wants to see what would happen if he ended up on a team like this year's Chiefs team.

Damn our defense is playing lights out right now.

If the Rams were able to mount any kind of offense whatsoever, we would be way ahead.

Come on, Clemens, you bastard!!!

That might have been the worst playcalling that I've ever seen to end that game. Can't pin that one on Clemons because he was completely hung out to dry.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!!!

:scream:

Rams have a golden opportunity to steal one from the Seahawks, and they completely deuce the futon. WTF?!?!

We ran it down their throats all night, and on 4th and goal from 1 foot line, we pass????

God Damnit!!

It was ours for the taking, thanks to our defense. That was painful. It would have been better to have been blown out than to lose like that.

Insert multiple swear words here.

:scream:

:brickwall:

I was always puzzled by the choice of Jason Garrett as head coach. I know he was courted by a bunch of teams for their head coaching jobs when he was just a coordinator, but he's been a .500 coach in three seasons in Dallas.

Well I think the main reason is that he is a young first time head coach that Jerry Jones has complete control over. He just coaches scared. He played not to lose Sunday and it bit him again.

For better or worse, the era of Case Keenum begins tonight in Houston on Sunday night football. What's cool is it's battle red night, so the Texans will have red jerseys and white pants. Maybe Case will think he's back at the U of H and throw a bunch of TDs.

Another terrible loss at home in a game we could have won.

Clemens is an idiot.

:brickwall:

Case Keenum already started in Kansas City two weeks ago and got sacked five times. ;)

Romo had his career 19th game winning drive today. Dez had some huge 3rd down drops and a costly unsportsman like conduct penalty that made the game closer than it should have been.

Kansas City is 9-0. This just feels weird, especially after last season. So we're going into the bye undefeated, the only undefeated team, and looking at at least a winning record. I just hope they can get their offense shored up, we need that big time.

And some more 100-yard interception returns. Those work too.

If they beat Denver in Week 11, they'll make a believer out of me!

OK, who had Nick Foles as their Fantasy Quarterback this week?

The better question is: Which team desperate for a QB will give him a boatload of money as a result of this one game, only to have him revert to "thoroughly average" at best?
