Great to see when Rivers performs well, but also painfully obvious his arm doesn't have it anymore when he makes a bad play. Same thing happening with Rodgers.

First game turned out to be close. Current game is also close but only because the Lions are playing down to the Vikings. Doesn't seem to be much life in them.

It's been the story of the season. Morton wasn't a good OC fit. Injuries once again are a problem. This is one of the toughest divisions in the league, always going to be a dog fight.

DK Metcalf suspended two games for the altercation with a fan.

Jay Glazer is reporting that Metcalf asked Lions security to remove the same fan last year for derogatory comments and the people sitting around the fan added that they heard him saying derogatory-enough stuff to ask security to remove him. Reportedly these comments were racist and also having to do with Metcalf's mother. And the fan has of course denied it, again using Metcalf's full name in a half hearted attempt to save face.

The guy sounds like a piece of work, someone looking for fifteen minutes of fame and Metcalf was easily baited. I find Metcalf more believable.

The defense couldn't stop a cold. The fact that they stopped the biggest play of the game feels like a Miracle.

As a lifelong 49ers fan this game got me a few more gray hairs.

An amazing offense but a ( at this moment) defense with room for improvement. It's a small miracle that the Niners have such a season given how much injuries plagued them this season but other players stepped up and held the line.

Defense needs to improve a few steps if they want to get into the Superbowl but imagine next season with a recovered defense around Bosa and Warner. One can dream but if the Offense around Purdy and a full on Defense could turn the Niners in THE team of the next season.

I hope the 49ers focus on offense in the draft, specifically the OL. The Defense is going to be fine with Warner and Bosa returning, but that offense can be so much better.

Panthers win and they're in. Bucs win and they're in.... unless the Falcons win out (they still have two games to go) and cause an 8-9 three way tie, which the Falcons can't win but it makes the Panthers win the division.

From the #1 seed to a wildcard in the span of a couple of weeks.

The Rams have lost 4 games by a combined total of 9 points. They were in a position to win all of those games.

That missed field goal at Seattle will sting for a long time.

I guess at this point I’ll root for Seattle against the 49ers.
