NFL 2025: A new era dawns?

The Giants and Saints fandoms upset with their QBs want the new guy to play. But they'll probably just get destroyed and lose all confidence. Give Wilson one more start (Chargers) and give Rattler one more start (Bills). Then they following week they can switch to the rookies because they play... each other. Two teams so bad someone is bound to win and maybe even look good doing it.

This is why the Giants should’ve cut hair bait on Daboll and Scheine after last season. The Dart decision isn’t based on whether it is good for him or the team. He gets burned being tossed to the wolves before he is ready.

Never draft a new QB when the head coach is a lame duck. Bears did it with Trubisky, Fields and Williams. And it was the same GM for the first two.

I'm trying to think of a time where a regime took a 1st round QB, regime changed the next year and said QB ended up being a stud? It may have happened once or twice, but I don't think it happens often.

Yet, ownership keeps ignoring this.

Being a stud with the same team? Too soon to say anything about Caleb Williams.

Daniel Jones (Pat Shurmur) seems to be doing it away from the team that drafted him. Baker Mayfield (Hue Jackson) is doing it away from the team that drafted him, although he had one great season in Cleveland and they decided to discard him the moment things got tough.
