Texans oline and receiver core are decimated with injuries. If it weren't for that defense, it wouldn't have been close.

Texans looked good in the first half.

The second half was like a completely different team.

Vikings offense puts up 400 yards and they can only score four field goals. Fortunately they were playing Mac Jones and the Jaguars, who were never going to be able to get 12 points.

Three red zone picks can put a damper on points.

Bears fire Offensive Coordinator Shane Waldron, after nine games.

Not exactly sure how it is his fault that Caleb Williams hangs onto the ball far too long?

This kidna stuff halts progression obviously. Bad teams do it mroe often.

I don’t understand how he even got the job in the first place. Bears saw him fail as OC in his last stop and decide to hire him for the same role?

I think Waldron was hired under the assumption that Caleb Williams, “was ready”. Ready like Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels.

It is tricky with guys who have been, “the guy” for their entire lives. They dominate lesser competition on their pure athletic ability and instincts. That final level requires all the natural gifts, but these gifts be honed, but not overwhelmed by structure.

Professional QB is the toughest position in all of sports.

QB is tricky. Some simply don’t have what it takes (Rick Mirer), some are head cases (Ryan Leaf) and some get destroyed by their own team (David Carr). Probably a few out there who can play but will never get the chance to. What happens to lowly draft pick Tom Brady if Drew Bledsoe never gets hurt?

I think there’s something to be said about college seasoning. Trey Lance dominates FCS for one season and can’t make two level jumps into the NFL. Brock Purdy is good but not elite in college, but has four years of experience going against Big 12 defenses.

Eight coaches on Matt Eberflus' staff have been fired or resigned in the last 14 months. How much long before the Bears take a look at him?

Had to fight every step of the way, to get where he is.

I think Shadeur Sanders will be an interesting 1st round pick, next year.
