It has been 40 years since the Miami Dolphins have been to the Super Bowl (XIX), and 50+ years since they have won (VIII).

That is all.

Dallas signs RB Dalvin Cook to their practice squad. Hope he has better luck than he had in New York!

Sure. They want to make sure people get so much product that they are puking it back up. All in the name of money.

Friday night is high school, Saturday night is college. Hopefully the Friday night game completes tanks in the ratings.

I think, for the NFL, the gloves are off. They are going to air their games wherever they think they will make money. Fuck High School and Pro-Collegiate ball, and anything else in their way.

Its exclusive to Peacock so it might. They are trying to make it so if you like Football, you will spend more money. There are even Christmas games on Netflix this year.

I see that it is being reported on various sports websites that the NFL owners held a secret meeting Tuesday and voted to allow private equity firms to purchase up to a 10% share in an NFL team. Each private equity firm will be able to purchase shares in up to six teams.

Black Friday NFL is also back this season, a Prime exclusive.

I just heard that Rickey Pearsall was involved in a robbery/shooting today. First report I saw said he was shot in the back and chest but he's in stable condition.

Very unlucky start to that guys career

In the preseason, Samson Nacua returns a field goal attempt 106 yards, misses scoring a TD by three yards because one of his blockers starts celebrating instead of blocking, and the Titans player pushes him into Nacua.

The NFL prevents all YouTube videos of their games from being embedded, so you'll have to click on the link.

49ers finally got Williams signed today so other than Pearsall, it looks like they are fully avaliable. Hopefully they get a good week of practice in and avoid the injury bug. Looking forward to Red Zone on Sunday and the 49ers on Monday Night.

Alright, so not 100% NFL-related and I know it's from the Daily Fail, but it's all very strange nonetheless.

Apparently some documents had leaked, allegedly from Kelce's PR firm "Full Scope", showing that the relationship between Travis Kelce and Tay-Tay may have been something of a fabrication, complete with end-date and pre-planned press-release narrative. Not at all sure if any of it is legit and, of course, all parties (with their lawyers in tow) are vociferously denying the allegations. It's all still kind of odd.

Anyways... who knows what's real and what's not anymore? It's all just "entertainment" in the end...

I would be happy if we went a year without the Kelce/Swift connection, but I know that's impossible and they have to play up the narrative. I'm looking forward to the Swift/Kelce break up song.

Not saying it isn’t true, but I have no idea what either would have to gain, beyond more money. Which both already have plenty of.

From most people's POV's, yeah, I would say that both of them have enough generational wealth to last them 20 lifetimes.

Then again, when folks get to that "elite" level, they seem to develop this insatiable desire to acquire even more, for no other reason than... well... just more. It could also be that they're very well-paid pawns of their respective employers - mega-corps always in search of "more" (this is an axiom) - and employing them as useful idiots to provide cross-pollination of the fandom between the NFL and the "Swifties", a strategy which seems to have been generally successful.

But yeah, I'm with @tomalak301 - I'd like to see them both just go the fuck away forever. Kelce's abhorrent behavior/temper tantrum towards Andy Reid during the Superbowl, despite his athletic performance and their subsequent win, should have earned him a one-way ticket back to the locker room.

Why do fans flip out over where some random reporter or TV/radio guy predicts their team will finish? Their opinion means nothing and has zero effect on how the team actually performs.

Many years ago there was a die hard Raiders fan who called into the local radio program and they were talking about the Raiders. The radio host had predicted them to do well but they ended up being really bad. And for some reason, the host's prediction was still making the caller really happy even though the season was over and the prediction was dead wrong.
