Miami shit the bed in Denver. Tagovailoa pulled after being sacked six times.
Looks like only Justin Herbert escaped the day in decent shape of the 2020 first round QB's.
I think Tua was pulled because of an ankle injury.
Tua Tagovailoa‘s honeymoon as the Dolphins’ quarterback came to an end Sunday in a loss to the Broncos. Tagovailoa struggled mightily during the defeat, and was pulled for Ryan Fitzpatrick. Speaking after the game, head coach Brian Flores confirmed Tagovailoa did not have an injury and was benched for performance. That being said, Flores also wasted no time declaring that his rookie will be his starter next week, meaning we’ll have to wait again for our first dose of Fitzmagic. Tagovailoa was 11/20 for only 83 yards before getting pulled during the loss, which snapped Miami’s five-game winning streak. He’ll have a get-right spot against the Jets next week.
OK, they replayed a potential injury right after Tua's last play, so probably some BS one way or the other.
Playing the Jets usually cures what ails ya.
Yes. The 85 yards total offense over three plus quarters might have been enough to get Flores to check out a local bus stop.I don’t think Flores would have thrown him under the bus to the media if it wasn’t production related.

I hate this nonsense.
Someone up the Phins food chain is pushing hard on the Tua nonsense. As was shown in the Broncos game, he can't make decisions quick enough and (shockingly for a University of Alabama player) is comfortable and competent when playing from ahead, but terrible at playing from behind.
When Fitz took over on that last drive you could see everyone's energy level change - they were crisp, confident, and a step faster. The Broncos played LIGHTS OUT, credit where credit is due, but had Fitz started that game, the Dolphins would have won by 10 points or more.
Tua is a good kid, but he isn't ready.
The offense is 26th in rushing, 28th in passing, and 29th in total yards (the rankings are based on my memory of an infographic, so may be off a bit). It's a cluster of terrible, with WRs that can't create separation, a scheme that doesn't allow for anything but dinking and dunking, 8 (!) featured running backs since the beginning of the season and is going to wear out a spectacular defense/special teams that is carrying them right now.Like @Jedi_Master hinted (I think) at, there seems to be some confusion and/or dysfunction going on down there ATM.

His best game by far was against the AZ Cards - who aren't especially known for their defensive prowess. We saw flashes of what he could become, someday, in that game. The Dolphins beat my Rams, but it wasn't thank to Tua, who had something like 90 yards passing (the Rams committed 4 turnovers and gave up a special teams TD).
The kid is young and I'm sure he'll develop, but he's no savior.
Not yet, anyway.
Lots of horrendous injuries this season. The prolonged COVID-inflienced time-off across the board has really taken its horrible toll. Dak Prescott's injury from a few weeks ago gave me flashbacks to Theismann's career-ending crush by L.T. back in '85. The dead-wobbly foot really gave me quite a visceral reaction.
I hope these guys will be able to move again, much less play the game.![]()
Lions could beat Panthers and Vikings probably beat Cowgirls. Both teams will likely be tied with the Bears at 5-5 after Sunday. I'd say the upside might be Nagy and Pace getting the axe, but who TF would they hire that would be any better?
#NewBearsOwnership(please)
After the Lions' performance in Carolina, you can just replace Bears with Lions in your comment, right up to needing new ownership.
