How is this guy not a capitalist hero? Saw a potential for future demand, acted on it, and waited for his investment to mature.

Some time ago, the son of my former boss was discussing his great business plan - he and his partner bought "gently-used" vehicles that were being sold a bargain price (usually by private sellers) took them to a repair/body shop he had a made a deal with (discount due to volume) refurbished the car, and then sold for a profit.
He was making about $5,000 to $10,000 a vehicle.
As I asked him the details, he revealed his original inventory had been financed by a loan from his dad (millionaire), the garage was owned by a friend of his partner's father (another millionaire) and that his father's friends (also millionaires) had bought a few cars off of them and also let him buy some of their older vehicles at a reduced price.
Good business, if you can hack it.

NFL 2020 = certain doom. A sport rife with close exposure to the aerosols of others and a sport with no shortage of nasty dudes who don't like to follow the rules- and it just takes a few. What will it be- play a game, quarantine for 2 weeks, play a game, quarantine for 2 weeks- good luck scheduling that. Is Vegas taking bets for the date by which the first coach or obese lineman dies?

I know you aren't advocating for that, but that's the reality. COVID-19 would quickly devastate the season.
