^ I would say that Hester's physical abilities might have had some part in it too.

Though the blocking schemes are important as well :)

Is it my imagination, or does Michael Turner look like he's been reborn in these last two weeks?

And the Falcons D cannot stop Vernon Davis!

What is that now... 4 turnovers and a missed field goal?!

Flacco may be entering that upper echelon of QBs, now

That fumble... I am looking forward to an explanation on it, because it looked as if he had control of the ball until it hit his knee... by which time he was down

Wow.... another turnover. A real game of inches! 5 trips inside the 25... and only 1 TD

Well, the Harbowl it is.

I'm glad the Patriots lost. Kudos to the Ravens for two nice road wins to get there.

I hope the Ravens win it all. More to the point, I want the Niners to lose.

Should be a good one!

The nice thing for me today is that in both games, the winner has deserved every bit of it. They clearly were the better team in each case.

Now... I need to find a set of earplugs to mask out all the Ray Lewis talk for the next two weeks. :scream:

So, a team other than NE-Indy-Pitt wins the AFC for the first time in 10 years. Whereas on the NFC side, we've now had 11 different winners in the last 12 years.

Don't worry, the SupHarbaughl talk will drown out any Ray Lewis talk :p

I like how, for awhile, the Ravens strategy was to have Flacco throw the ball really really hard so it would go really really fast. Seriously, there were plays that should never have been catches but they were too fast for the defense to react to them.

It was a tough game throughout, but it really looked like the Ravens simply wanted it more and outplayed them in the stretch.

When you shut out the highest scoring offense for the season ( by 100 pts), yeah it's mostly due to some inspired play.

"Do you believe in miracles?! YES!!!"

Obviously, I was being a bit hasty last week when I accused the Ravens of clearing a path for the Patriots to the NFL championship. In my defense, I believed I was being realistic.

Kaepernick vs. Flacco. Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh. This should be a classic.

I'll be rooting for the Ravens even though they just beat the Patriots. I'd like to see Ed Reed get a ring.

I, for one, am happy for today's results. I really didn't want the Patriots to win, and if the Broncos couldn't be there then the Ravens are the next best thing. As someone on Facebook said, this is the first time in a long time that I don't hate one of the teams (I'm actually pretty neutral on both the Ravens and the 49ers).

Exactly, and further proof that Flacco isn't an elite QB. He just throws it, and hopes someone does the hard work to catch it.
