    ^ The files on the CD are all unencrypted PDF files. I saved them to my computer ages ago and don't know where my disk even is. They came with an HTML saved webpage interface to pick out the individual PDFs.

    Yep. I have made a few copies of the pdf files from the disk myself. You can read them on any device with Adobe Reader.

    Publication order. They used to be numbered, but all the Trek books stopped getting numbered at the same time, and, with New Frontier's participation in the cross-series events (Double Helix, Gateways, etc.), the numbering was defeated somewhat, since the books would have the number its placement in the mini-series, not the series proper.

    Here's the page on Memory Beta, which lists all of the stories, including comic/graphic novels and short stories. Although, it does list No Limits under one entries when it is actually a short story collection with stories taking place all over the timeline of the series.

    For the most part, though, No Limits as a whole can be set after the Excalibur trilogy - most of the stories in it take place before the series proper, and the ones that don't are right around that time frame.

    It was short to me too. I also think that since I waited so long for a new NF, I was expecting a more epic tale.

    I've been laid up all week keeping one injuring leg elevated, so I finally got to read BBB! I enjoyed it - but am mainly pleased that, thanks to his cameo, Arex's third arm seems to have survived!

    The last words of Morgan were interesting. I was expecting we might get some old Number One lines of dialogue in there at last, especially since the IDW comic had used Number One as a template for the Morgan holograph at her post, but we got a few ship's computer lines - and Christine Chapel lines from TOS! PAD loves to mess with our heads.

    I really hope there's more story to come.

    Didn't the ending stab you at the heart?

    Well, Therin, I guess you really felt for Arex this past week.

    When I spoke to PD and his wife last spring, it was obvious they have a lot of love left for this series and its characters. I don't think he's finished with Calhoun, but I don't think he wants to force a story either, but wants to be inspired with a great tale. If only we knew PD's muse so we could make an offering.

    ^Except the future of NF is in Pocket's hands, not PD's. And since BMB was the last contracted book, we can pretty much assume the series is dead until we hear differently. And honestly with the decline in quality (IMO of course) of NF and the generally high quality of the rest Trek Lit, I'm not gonna be too disappointed if it is the end.

    No, all it needs is PAD to pitch a story to Ed. And for Ed to accept it. And CBS Licensing to approve it.

    I like that in his new e-book Christopher has (intentionally or not) implied that as far as Trek as a whole is concerned, this didn't happen, by having an appearance by Admiral Nechayev!
