Next Star Trek movie weapons

After some slightly unorthodox Starfleet weapons effects in the latest movie what type of phasers/torpedo's would you like to see in the next movie?

Its not really a big deal, i mean i could certainly live without it, but it would be cool to see some classic TOS blue beam phasers in the next movie:

I rather liked the defensive phasers from ST11.

Big beam phasers would be cool though. I'd also like to see pho-torps treated in a realistic manner, but I won't be holding my breath.

The reboot phasers reminded me of Galatica as I watched it.

I'd like to see a return to beam phasers. The Kelvin sequence proved they still looked cool.
