Next random sequel/prequel episode?

I doubt many of us predicted a sequel to "The Cage" 55 years later. So, which other Trek episode or movie needs a sequel or prequel in Discovery?

It'll never happen, but I'd like a prequel to the animated episode "Magicks of Megas Tu". Disco is right on the edge of fantasy and magic with their mycellial forest.

Also a sequel to ENT: "Dear Doctor", or really any episode where they do something very questionable and we get to follow up on dire consequences a century later.

I'd like a five-part sequel to ENT's "The Augments," explaining why the Klingons went from long hair and bumpy foreheads, to smooth heads, to what we saw in DSC, to smooth heads and oily skin, and back to long hair and bumpy foreheads.

True, I didn't. But once Pike was brought onto DSC, it didn't surprise me at all when I found out Talosians would figure into an episode. And since "The Cage" is the only TOS episode that takes place before DSC, it was the only TOS episode they could do a sequel to. Prequels are a different story. I don't know off-hand but something from TOS will spring to mind at some point.

Don't ask me about any sequels to episodes from ENT...

Assignment Earth. Gary Seven and his overseers can turn up in any era of Trek history without fear of upsetting canon. So, sequel or prequel, take your pick (preferably sequel because the story would need Roberta Lincoln). In fact, CBS All Access should finally come out with that long overdue Assignment Earth television show that the episode was supposed to be a pilot for.

What say you, @Greg Cox ? ;)

If nothing else, they can take the Assignment: Earth idea of time-travelling to Earth for historical research. Got to have the obligatory Earth-set episode.

Tilly's Brain.
Tilly: "Brain? Whaddayoumean 'brain?' Speaking of brains, does anyone else think it's really weird that we got this grey lump of goopy stuff in our skull that we -- ourselves -- totally reside in? And why's it in our heads? It seems vulnerable there. You'd think it would be somewhere in our chest behind our ribs, like our heart. It would be better protected there. But I suppose you could have the same argument about the bridge of a starship being right there on top of the saucer section. I mean, wouldn't it make more sense to put it somewhere that has more protection?"

Stamets: "Ensign, say fewer things."
