News Next Arrowverse Crossover to Include Batwoman

Whoa. 1990 Flash: "Enough! You will not do to this Earth what you did to mine." I'm worried about what happened to my beloved 1990-series characters, but I'm thrilled that 90-Flash is a prominent character in the story and not just a cameo.

And it looks like the Monitor gave Dr. Deegan the power to reshape reality. I wonder why.

Welling is old enough now to play an older (Silver Age Earth 2) aged Superman. It would be great if the Arrowverse introduced an old WWII style JSA IMO. (Well I guess they already have in Legends.)

Stephen Amell tweeted a photo of a meeting he had with Tom Welling and Micheal Rosebaum yesterday. As CBR points out in the article, you can see the logo for Stephen Amell's company Nocking Point Wines behind them, so this might not have anything to do with the Arrowverse, but we can't totally rule it out either.

Or maybe he and Berlanti used the wine company as a trap to get them into a meeting about the Arrowverse?! :P

Even if it is just about wine, I'm totally buying a bottle. I admit, upon seeing the photo, I had a small fangasm.

Obviously its because of the Gotham TV show and the forthcoming Matthew Vaughan directed film. Once Gotham is over though, there's no reason why he couldn't appear. Perhaps next year's crossover (if it happens) could be Batwoman trying to find Batman and needing help from Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and possibly the Legends?

There's no reason he can't appear now, save for one antiquated and seemingly inconsistent rule.

It's not really a rule per se, it's just the folks at DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. deciding case-by-case which characters they're willing to clear for use in a particular context.

Many times with in the last few days John Wesley Shipp has told his fans on social media to be sure to tune in for the 100th episode of the The Flash next week and the Arrowverse crossover the following week. Using behind the scene pictures of him in the 1990 suit.

So it’s definitely possible the return of that Flash is setup before the actual crossover. I read that all 3 shows setup elements the week before. Of course the 100th episode of The Flash involves time travel. It’s within in the realm of possible that we could see John as just Henry Allen. or Jay Garrick. or maybe as all three characters he has played in in a single episode!

That synopsis sounds great. And as much as I loved he huge ensemble battles of the previous crossovers, I am looking forward to the smaller scope of this crossover. Fewer superheroes should give each character more screen time. Plus, we are getting the top tier heroes so we should still get some pretty epic battles. I can't wait to see Flash, Green Arrow and Supergirl battle Evil Superman in black.

We know they're developing a Batwoman series for next season and this is the backdoor pilot for it, but I don't think it's been given the official go-ahead yet. I'd be surprised if it weren't, though.

If its Supergirl's Earth, then it makes all the past Batman references a bit weaker, since the guy is missing.
