News Next Arrowverse Crossover to Include Batwoman

It is quite possible that the Batwoman introduced in this crossover is not the same Batwoman who will be in the upcoming series.

Since the crossover is after the winter finales of all shows if they went with elseworlds versions of characters I'd think it more likely we'd see alternate versions of the regular heroes, not the new one. That way they can avoid mentioning any cliffhangers of individual shows, and set up Batwoman's Earth if she's on a separate one.

I don't think that will be the case though, and we'll just see the "real" versions of all characters.

I'd really like to see them re-name the villainous doctor at Arkham, and made him Jeremiah Arkham, in honor of the recently passed co-creator Norm Breyfogle.

Wow, the inclusion of The Monitor and the Elsworlds title do have some implications. It definitely sounds like we will be seeing some multiverse crossovers. I wonder if it'll just be Earths-1 and 38, or if we'll see others?

I'm a little surprised, really, because that would make two crossovers in a row that are driven by multiversal elements. "Invasion!" didn't really involve parallel Earths beyond the brief contrivance of bringing Supergirl over to join the fight; I'd been expecting that this would be like that but in reverse, with Barry and Oliver coming over to Earth-38 and helping Kara deal with Batwoman. But instead we're getting another one where the multiplicity of universes is integral to the plot and referenced in the title.

Approximately when would they probably start filming the crossover? I'm curious when the latest we could expect our first pics of Ruby Rose in costume are.

^ That's a trickier question to answer than you might think, because the three series involved operate on slightly different schedules (Arrow and The Flash both have an 8-days-per-episode shooting schedule whereas Supergirl has a 10-days-per-episode shooting schedule) and we don't know how far along each series is in their production schedule.
