News? Stories from Dubious Sources

Saying 'everyone seems to hate nuTrek' is not a statement of opinion. It is a statement of opinion that is incorrectly worded as if it were a fact. Hope that helps.

What the fuck does that even mean?

It helped about as much as having a stroke after wrecking a car.

This is literally what I read from you.
"Your opinion which you acknowledged as wrong is not an opinion.
You're now trying to say it was a fact that your fake opinion was your opinion."

I had a bad take, it's simple, and I'm sorry my take was bad, I deleted the post.
I'm gonna reevaluate my life now.
In your analysis, what I said was
Not an opinion, it's masquerading as an opinion.
It's also a statement, of an opinion, that claims to be factually an opinion.
This has to be some kind of semantics demon haunting my thoughts.

Whatever family of idea this is in now, is more interesting to me than all of Star Trek.
This alleged concept.

How is it a false assumption?
It was my true assumption.
My assumption was wrong
That last part is what makes it false.
that's why I deleted the post. But I wouldn't call it a false assumption, that's terrible grammar.
That's not really how grammar works, but as this particular topic has already gone so far off the rails, it's really kind of irrelevant now.
I'm sorry, I know my crime caused the American invasion of Greenland and the dissolution of NATO.
An amusingly curious bit of (also irrelevant) dramatic hyperbole.

I mean, I made the assumption, it's a real assumption, it was wrong.
Also, amusing hyperbole is something I enjoy from time to time.

Your opinion is not fact. Is that more clear?

Yes, thanks Admiral Obvious.

First my opinion is not an opinion, now my opinion is not a fact.
So, if my mistaken (word object here)/sin was neither an opinion or fact (Which I've acknowledged the mistake of, and since recanted.)
What was the word object?
I must know this information.

You've helped solve half of the mystery.
What was the word object?

If it's __________ masquerading as an opinion, and we both know the difference between an opinion and a fact.
I'm still curious what my poor generalization was.
It's not an assumption, and it's not an opinion, and an opinion is not a fact.
What is _______________________?

This is a mystery on par with the burn.

Yes, thanks Admiral Obvious.
Glad I could help.
It's Captain Obvious, actually. I don't believe he ever got promoted to a Flag grade ... yet.
