News media won't let carradine Rest in peace

Well he shouldnt have been a freak and accidentally killed himself. If he had died a normal death, even if he actually commited suicide then I would feel sorry for him, but the dude was trying to get off doing some freaky deaky stuff therefore the press is going to be all over it for the "humor" of the situation.

Most of the public thought he was a cool dude, but then we discovered he was a freak so that makes it all the more interesting.

Well he shouldnt have been a freak.

Why not?

Cause being a freak killed him, JW. No way around that one.

No, an accident apparently killed him.

The real question is not what his sexual preferences were... instead, it is, why do people care what his sexual preferences were? And the answer is apparently that some people just like denigrating others who can't defend themselves. And a deceased celebrity is therefore the perfect target.

The news media never lets *anyone* rest in peace.

(That song "Dirty Laundry"...more prophetic than Don Henley realized at the time, I think)

Sad, but TRUE!:( if he weren't in to that FREAKY DEAKEY stuff he'd still be alive.

You can say that with anything though. If someone gets into a car accident and dies... if they hadn't been in a car that day then they would have been fine. Does that mean cars are bad?

All I'm saying is that judging the man for what essentially looks like an accidental death doesn't feel appropriate at all.

He was a great actor, a fascinating character and a cultural icon. I don't much care what people do in their private lives to make themselves happy; there are a lot of dangerous hobbies out there from auto-asphyxiation to skydiving or mountain climbing and people are, sadly, killed by their hobbies quite often.

Carradine has always struck me as the sort of person who was into anything and everything involving sex, drugs and alcohol. So although his method of death surprised me at first, I actually think it's quite fitting. Like I said before, he died the way he lived.

My thoughts exactly.

Rest in peace Carradine. :(
