New Year's Resolutions - how are you doing?

I haven't actually got around to carrying out my New Year's resolution yet - get back to the gym and Weight Watchers, so, although not a failure, I haven't actually been a shining success at my resolutions for 2010, either.

What about you? Have you already shed loads of pounds? Are you back on the cigarettes? Is your alcohol consumption right down?

Or have you crashed and burned? Are your bright, shiny self-improvement plans for 2010 already just a distant memory?

I didn't have any specific resolutions, though I did design a new workout routine for myself. It was doing really well, but for some reason I crashed last week and I haven't been able to get my energy back. I think I need a vacation.

I am sticking to my resolution to lose weight and to exercise.

I lost about 2.5 kilos in January and I am using my Wii for exercise between 60-120 minutes a day. I am also walking about 12-15 kms a week.

No resolution per se, but being home for the holidays did illustrate how much my lifestyle has changed for the worse while away. So I'm trying new things, quitting smoking among them. Doing surprisingly well. :)

I've been doing well with exercising (almost) every day, and I've been spending more time with the writing and art, but I still haven't gotten back to my novel yet.

What kind of warped logic is that?
The year's not over yet.

My only resolution was to keep on not-smoking (quit in august already), which I don't know if it technically qualifies as a new year's resolution. But it's still tough at times, and I'm still 100% "clean", so I'm counting it as a successful resolution. ;)

I decided to drink less alcohol (notice the "less", I've never said that I was stopping completely :p ).
Well, a bottle of Absolut and a bottle of Sauternes jumped in my grocery bag at the supermarket...and I'm going at the pub tomorrow...
Hey, it's still less than December :p

Ok, I'm weak :(

One of the best and toughest to stick to - best of luck! :bolian:

I made no resolutions because I never keep them - I have to do things in smaller increments - some weeks are challenge enough not to go completely nutso and drive to another country with all the cash I can finagle . . .

That's awesome! 60-120 minutes a day! **applause**

I also never make new year's resolutions. I'm to ADD for that!

It wasn't exactly a resolution, but it just so happened I planned on leaning down starting in January for when I go to the Arnold Sports Festival in March--so far so good--I'm down from 245 to 230 and prob wont lose much more, I'm just focusing on getting tighter.

RAMA

I only made one and it's not a big deal, but yeah I've stuck with it, I suppose.

hey RAMA - how YOU doin'?

really - I hear it's harder to lean down than bulk up because you have to cut so much food out of your diet. Uuurgh!
