New Voyager HD opening..best one I've ever seen

Someone might want to tell him that Voyager's OAR IS 4:3.

There's a point where CGI gets a little too clean looking and ends up looking fake. He definitely needs to tone down the brightness and color.

I like it. But still, the original credits look better. For instance the reflection of the ship on the rings. And also the lensflare - flyby - warp jump at the end.

That was my thought too, everything just looked so fake. I'm starting to get a little annoyed with the idea that we have to "HD" everything, because when I watched that, I found that the theme ended up losing some of it's charm. It just didn't feel like the Voyager theme anymore, and I consider the Voyager sequence the best of any trek series. A little HD is a good thing, too much of it though, might get a little out of hand.

Although very well made, it's definatly not the best fanmade CGI out there. Some of it is just to clean. The lensflares are way to to overdone, and some of the camera movement is a bit off. But it's still pretty damn good.

It was a really nice effort.

But not only is the reflection of Voyager on the rings missing, the original music had a "tinkling" as the camera passed through the rings. Very nice touch on the original.

I like it. Though I'd have made that planet(s) in the last shot more alien.
