I did notice that one of the boxes for a later season has a season 1 image of B'Elanna on it

They need to change the fuzzy/ doctored pic of Janeway on the Complete series box. The DS9 box art is so much better.

I never purchased the DVD's. Couldn't justify the cost. Maybe this time I will.

I disagree. From what I've seen over the last 10 years, Voyager has remained very noticeable, and especially over the last 5 years interest has been renewed with Kate Mulgrew's prominent role on the Netflix-exclusive series "Orange Is The New Black". In a way I think this re-release is to tie into OITNB's popularity as well as get Voyager back on store shelves.

But I think Voyager will get a remaster in HD, but instead of Blu-Ray the HD. version will probably be issued on Netflix/iTunes and broadcast first befor Blu-Ray.

If all that popularity can muster while it is hot is a reissue of a poor DVD set, I'd say the chances of an HD remaster are slim.

Well, the release of ST: Voyager in Blue-ray or HD remasterized or even in 3D, could happen in about 10 years, which could correspondto the next Mulgrew's prominent role on TV! ;)

More seriously, it would have been more interesting to add some goodies, like the tour of sets, a filmed Voyager reunion around different topics per season, interviews with Berman, Piller, Taylor and Braga, etc... . It could have pushed fans to purchase them...
Trying to present something new from an old product, with no improvement, has never driven things forward, IMHO.

I have always hoped for bloopers and deleted scenes

Oh yes, absolutely, especially deleted scenes (and no, I don't refer to the J/C's kiss , if the scene even exists! - but all others).

There also has to be a ton of bloopers. The cast was so goofy they had to have so many outtakes and jokes that ended up being filmed. I've heard a lot of great silly stories about things they did on the set

I think Rick Berman was against blooper reels.

Berman seems like a very boring dude. He seems to be half asleep most of the time.

Most of the TNG Blu-rays have newly constructed blooper reels, so if VOY or DS9 ever do get done, I'd expect to see some there too.

I plan on purchasing this when it comes out. Both the design of the original release and the price kept me away. It will be nice to finally be able to complete my Star Trek collection. Just like DS9 I hope that they eventually release a HD version of the show. But until then I will make due with DVD!

Wait a minute. "ENTERPRISE" got re-mastered and not "DEEP SPACE NINE" and "VOYAGER"? That does not make sense. Something is rotten in Denmark . . .

It didn't get remastered, Enterprise was originally shot in HD, they didn't have to do any work to release it as such.
