New uniforms in Season 2 Trailer

It was Burnham, on what I assume is the Enterprise, entering Spock's quarters.
I gave up watching them before they skitted over to the MU. The show was just not worthwhile on any level.
Will I watch the first episode, whenever it returns, to see Pike and company aboard the Enterprise? I don't doubt it, as long as it's free (it will be).
There's no reason to get excited just because they show some folks in the old-style red and gold Trek uniforms, though - you can still see them in the Abrams films.
Well, the 1701 on the door frame gives it away.
I think it's the juxtaposition of the shoulder pads and the material that throws me with the Beyond costumes, and even more so with these. In that pic of Pike (?), it looks like the tunic is almost Spandex, or has a lot of Spandex content. Look at how it clings around the elbow. Even with the inset shoulders, the shoulder pads look strange to me.

Assorted observations.
Great stuff.
- L'Rell's chambers appear to be a redress of the Charon sets.
- We see the Enterprise emblem on a computer display set into a larger black panel above what could be a lower alcove. Could this be one of the upper computer screens on the TOS Enterprise bridge? Have we seen that version of the Starfleet/Enterprise emblem before?
- The Enterprise Uniform Dress sketch is next to another sketch with the letters "Op" and "Tita" visible. Operations? Titan? Titantic? Time travel to 20th Century Earth confirmed!
- Have we seen the alien species in the uniform sketch before?
- Pike appears to be facing into a brightly, golden hallway or chamber. And could that be Spock next to him? Very upright posture, the right kind of jaw, and he has ears.
- We see an unusual-looking room with angular red panels labeled with an arrow and "110-120" and "130-???." Have we ever seen a hallway that tells you which rooms are in which direction? Sensible! Could this be the Enterprise engine room? Those angular red panels are giving me TAS vibes. Does anyone have reference pictures? Google fails me.
- Did we ever seen anything other than straight-walled corridors in TOS?

I'm not upset about not seeing The Cage pajama uniforms. This is a retcon I can live with. This is not as bad as the D7.

Don't worry, it's only a trailer. Trailers usually show the best parts. We always knew production of STD is top notch

Love the colorful uniforms! Although I’m still doubtful the writing will improve as well. I‘m with @BillJ on this one: They are building a whole storyline (or worse, the season) around superficial set pieces from the previous shows and expect us to buy it as state-of-the-art must-see TV? If the first season is any indication, I‘m not convinced yet they‘ll win me over.
