News New Ultraman comics coming 2020 from Marvel

I noticed reading about it, that a lot of the seasons of Ultraman seem to involve Ultramen from past seasons. Do they do that much with Super Sentai and Kamen Rider?
Super Sentai usually has an annual crossover special with the current Sentai team meeting the team from the year before.
Kamen Rider used to have such events in the 70s, which were screened at an annual Toei children film festival.
Both series have had bigger crossover specials coinciding with special anniversaries.

The Ultra Series, though, also has had occasional crossovers in their normal episodes, as well as feature-length movies.

Holy crap! I was just looking and had no idea there were that many Ultra series.

I remembered after my other post that I did watch the first episode of Blake's 7 through an unofficial Youtube post and plan on watching more that way in the future. It was because it was literally the only way I could find to watch it, it was not streaming for free or to purchase anywhere, and the only DVD I could find aren't playable on my region specific DVD player.
That is my one time I break that rule, if there is absolutely no other way to watch a show that I really want to see.
It blows my mind that there is no way to legit watch that show in the USA. I mean you can watch Star Maidens and Space Precinct but not Blake's 7?

Yeah, it kind of pisses me off that there's no legal version available in the US. British stuff is pretty popular over here, so you'd think it wouldn't be that hard to build up interest in it.

To add to that, Super Sentai has started to occasionally feature previous heroes in their regular episodes. Ninninger had an episode featuring Ninja Red from Kakuranger and Hurricane Red from Hurricanger, Zyuogher brought back the Gokaiger for a two parter and Kyuranger featured Dekaranger characters (and Gavan, a metal hero in the same episode). And of course all of Gokaiger is a parade of previous heroes appearing, every previous season in represented.

Starting in September.

I'm glad they got a solicit and a date for this title I was worried Marvel would cancel it due to "current events". The Alex Ross cover is pretty sweet, I'll definitely add this one to my pull list.

A new video from Tsuburaya's YouTube channel compares the Marvel version with the original show:
