I didn't see it in a theater in 1982. I'd love that chance.

I just saw it at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. It was an original 35 mm film copy. They did use the soundtrack from the Blu Ray, so the sound was amazing, but the picture was really scratched up.

I was at that screening, too.

That was a relatively new print struck in 2007 of "The Final Cut." It was pretty battered, though, especially considering they had to stop the film at one point.

Still, great to see a film print of the movie. I've been lucky enough to see it theatrically four times (I went three times when The Final Cut played in Washington, DC back in '07).
