Three classes of vessels will be offered; bomber, fighter and flagship, including the new Star Trek XI USS Enterprise. The music for the game will also come from Star Trek XI.
There are three game modes, including one with two six-player teams (Federation vs. Romulan) and a single-player mode
Brian Tyler's music was used in 2 'Star Trek' trailers. the source of the music as from the 1985 movie "Legend" . One is "Down With the Enterprise" and the second is "Freedom Fighters".. Although none of the trailers released so far contain any music by Michael Giacchino, the Official Star Trek Movie Site does feature a Giacchino composiiton as the background music.
Electronic Arts announced today at GDC that it's developing a "Star Trek" mobile game tied to the movie. But after initially offering to show the title, it backed out. So I don't have any more information than the fact that it's in the works

Looks like a jazzed up version of Star Trek Encounter on the PS2.
May 1, 2009The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC game does take a few cues from its big-screen counterpart. "Star Trek: D.A.C." features film composer Michael Giacchino's original score. The three Federation and Romulan starships that players can captain in deathmatch, assault and conquest scuffles were inspired by the movie's designs, including the Enterprise.

This game looks like crap which is disappointing because I was hoping that along with this movie would come a really awesome game.
Bridge Commander wasn't bad.
Paramount has now officially announced that the game is headed to The Playstation Network later in the summer. Players can expect to purchase the game for a reasonable price of $10.00. With the release comes a host of new features and upgrades to the game:
- A Brand New Ship Class known as ‘Support Frigate’, which provides healing for nearby ships and easily target enemy escape pods.
- Players can now customize their AI difficulty setting, as well as goals and game time limits
- The Games mechanics, such as capturing control points, have also been improved.
- Lastly Host migration has been included, which will allow players to continue playing a multiplayer game even if the host player disconnects.
.Star Trek DAC will be available for The PC soon after the Playstation Network release.
