Am I in the minority?
To my mind Leblanc is just dreadful on this show.Lamentably bad,no charm and uncomfortable to watch.
Chris Evans is not the problem here!

I agree that Matt isn't a good fit, but disagree on the other point. Chris wasn't a good fit either. I don't think anyone replacing the other three will be a good fit in the same format, they will always be compared to THEM.

But on their own merits, Chris and Matt aren't good presenter types.

I think Leblanc is dreadful too. I would hope he wouldn't return for any future series.

Yeah, found him flat and uninteresting. At the same time, it's as if he's trying too hard.

Apparently the BBC have said they won't be replacing Evans but that everyone else will be returning.

I assume they will make LeBlanc and Rory Reid the leads with a rotating third for various stuff. But who knows. I think that might actually work better and I've mostly enjoyed this series.

There are some reports i'm reading today of a police investigation into allegations of assault by Evans in the 90s. That could also be a reason for this step down.

As side news, it seems Channel 4 won't be making more TFIFriday, which had been suggested as a reason why Evans might want to be free of a BBC contract.
