NEW TO STAR FLEET , any suggestions from my senior officers??

NEW TO SPACE, any suggestions from my senior officers??? which one is best? Where do I start? I've seen many episodes from multiple sagas , and just finished the lost frontier audio drama.... Any suggestions on how I should do this? Any advice from the professional trek-heads out there would be very appreciated

Are you writing Trek fanfic, looking for a series to watch in full, developing a machine to cross into a universe where Trek is real and you're assuming command of your own ship? More information on just what you're looking for would be useful before any suggestions can be offered.

Are you trying to roleplay the board? Because we don't really do that here, Cadet. My recommendations would be to 1. Start with the first episode of Season 1 of TOS and view from there, 2. *Never* ask "which one is best" unless you're *trying* to start an argument, because opinions vary widely and it's entirely subjective, and 3. Don't do experiments or pull pranks that involve the beloved pets of flag officers. ;)

Well I am looking for a series to watch in full, I know there's much to learn and a lot to take in , and as for that machine to cross over, well I have that , it's called a bong lol , what series would you suggest I start with ?

just start with TNG (The next Generation) and work forward to DS9 till Voyager

Most people will tell you to start with TOS or TNG, but my answer is always "depends on what you're looking for."

I would suggest watching them in order: So TOS>TNG>DS9>VOY>ENT.

If you really want to just focus on one then I absolutely recommend you watch DS9. Which, to me, is Trek's masterwork.

You've got a rare opportunity here Cadet. Most of us started at some point in between, from a chronological perspective. You could actually watch the series in the order they're meant to be. You could start with Enterprise, which is only 4 seasons. Then move on to Discovery once it launches. Resume with TOS to TNG to DS9 and wrap it up with Voyager.
