The next Trek film will be cleverly titled "Batman III."
"Star Trek: Teh Baba Coulter Revenge?"
Current Hollywood naming conventions seems to be a complete abandonment with numbering and sticking only with subtitles. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan today would probably be simply Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan. There's no need to know what number is it really.

I still prefer Where No Man Has Gone Before as a title for the next film.
I like the idea of using segments of the monologue for subsequent movies. The Final Frontier is great, but it was already used for V. To Boldly Go might work.. although it's not really.. titley!
