Don't care for the political message, but I loved the parody stuff! Nice drawing style, too.

Hard working immigrant population....gotta love the liberal word play. Remember when immigrants had to actually fill out all the legal papers and learn the language. Now we get crap like this cartoon telling us that we need to be careful how we treat our immigrant population. Sorry sore spot hit with this one, I hate the fact that I should feel guilty because I was born here, and then pay all my taxes, just to watch beeding hearts give the money to someone who broke the laws of my country by entering it illegally.

BJ, Trek is political by nature.

Ihlecreations, You're joking right? Hey, you know who filled out a bunch of papers to like in this country? The Pilgrims. But that would be an point of discussion if this was a movie about illegal immigration. If I recall, there was no mention of illegals anywhere in the movie. Its funny how people want to misinterpret it that way.

By Jiminy... I love the "The Cage" zoom-in to the Enterprise, but wait... which direction is the bridge facing again??? :guffaw:

Spock wasn't an illegal alien though. He never snuck into Federation space.

He was a full Federation participating citizen.

Great parody voices however... ;)

Yeah, the Federation is made up of mostly aliens (from humans perspective). It's Spock (Schlock) who should be deporting Kirk (Kirkoff). Reminds me a little of the fake documentary film "A Day Without A Mexican". Also, new figures out state that the US will be mostly made up of minorities by 2050 (outnumbering whites).

Terrific artwork and animation. I could watch a whole episode like that. My favorite part has to be toward the end though, when Kirk starts singing and the bridge crew are practically begging him to shut up.

As for the political message, it seems the point being made isn't one of illegal immigration, but what happens when we start curtailing individual freedom in the name of safety and national security. As ol' Ben would say, "we would deserve neither".

Great animation, Poopday Machine. I assume you are the artist and did many of the vocals (if I read the credits correctly)?

J.

How I long for the day when Trek used to be the hobby of the Tolerant ..not the Intolerant.
