i like this poster better than the comic con poster, but still like the first teaser (designed by JJ Abrams himself) the best.

anyway the article linked by the OP has a less sepia looking one but I am still trying to get an official version from Paramount

RE: where is kirk, spock, enterprise, etc
it is a 'teaser' not a real poster for the film. They havent cast kirk...hard to put him in a poster. People need to remember we are still over 16 months away from release

PTM, I agree. The 1st teaser poster is still the best. In my opinion, the two latest posters look a little like fan art (although I know they are not) -- but I DO like the retro-trek look. I think the first one (emblem against a field of gold/blue TOS uniform material) is the best-executed poster thus far.

I like this poster more than the Comic-Con one, mostly because I felt the lettering on the Comic-con poster was too large and made it looked like you weren't seeing the full poster.

Please don't flame...I was just messing around. I know I'm not a graphic artist. (And yeah, that Kirk is Brad Pitt...I used his face because it was at the correct angle and had the correct lighting -- no other reason)
