Kurn did it in STTNG Redemption part II to destory a group of Klingon bird of pray, that were chasing him, and Martok did it at Monac IV costing the destruction of a Dominion shipyard in DS9 Image in the Sand. Neither of them were at warp when they went to warp near that star surface. P.S. You have to be traveling around a star at high warp , then brake away to travel through time. And yes a black star, also known as a black hole can cost a starship passing by them at warp to travel through time and can the same thing can with a star. Also, if you look at the end of that segment in the trailer, you will notice the Franklin going to warp and the fire ball bursting out behind her.Hmm, that's the first I've heard of that idea! At least people here aren't mindlessly hating the music.
I'm just wondering if the lyrics are have meaning i.e. dealing with Krall, or is it Spock choosing/thinking of leaving Starfleet to help his people as hinted about by Quinto in Interviews. Pure speculation but perhaps Spock Prime dies and Spock feels like he should take his place. Hmmmm
