I am really, REALLY, excited about this episode. Which rarely has happened with this series.

By big hope is that Geoff Johns was allowed to keep it as self contained as possible. Unlike his Legion episode. As much as I liked that it was too tied into the Doomsday and Chloe/Brainiac plotlines.

I have seen almost no conjecture on the villain of this movie here or on other sites. I believe there is a JSA enemy called The Icicle. It seems like that character in the cold room, with white hair is him. Just a guess though.

Well it not really a trailer for just that episode/movie. But I think all the upcoming episodes. So we will see.

Not really, because VAMPIRE DIARIES has been getting great ratings in SMALLVILLE's old time slot. I'm sure the CW is quite happy with how things are working out. SMALLVILLE is still getting by, plus they have a brand new hit on Thursdays.

It's a win-win for them.

Wow that was awesome. I have been looking forward to seeing "Absolute Justice" since the concept for a Justice Society episode was announced at Comic Con. Dr. Fate looks fucking amazing as does Sandman! The poster looks great! I wouldn't mind owning that!

Smallville still has 22 episodes...remember that it's only been recently that "Absolute Justice" was announced as a movie. It was originally going to be one episode "Society" then it was expanded into two "Society" and "Legends" because Geoff wanted to do it right. The rest of the season will air as intended. I don't think Zod or the Kandorians are supposed to be in the episode from spoilers I've read on it but don't quote me on that.

This has been the one episode that I've been really looking forward to out of the whole season.

But the budget of 2 of those 22 episodes probably went to this. It was only after it was produced that CW decided to air both together. Which would mean 21 nights of new episodes this season.

"Absolute Justice" is a movie the same way "Dark Frontier" was a Voyager movie or "Way of the Warrior" was a DS9 movie. In other words, it is just a two-parter being shown together.
