I mean the season sets with the white boxes that are out now. Is there any difference in the actual DVDs? Any remastering of the content?

Is the packaging as frail and prone to disc damage as the complete series set?

I'm pretty sure they're the exact same discs in new packaging. The only change I expect is the addition of the 20th Century Fox logo in the opening logos, and maybe trailers.

I doubt they're in the crappy sleeve things that the complete series set discs are, they looked like they're the same as the Atlantis sets. I dunno why they didn't just use the design used for the SGU sets, best of the lot IMO.

The recent releases of SG-1 and Atlantis on DVD are in packagaing identical to SGU's. Standard DVD cases which include all the discs within

SG-1's first eight seasons were originally in box sets, each disc in a standard DVD case. Seasons 9 and 10 and Atlantis were originally released in box sets which had two discs per slim-case. Seasons 1-8 were also re-released in this manner.
