Can't say I care for it, and the ship looks like a reject from LEXX, blech....
Heck, I could write up a better idea then what they propose.... granted they went into a lot of work and detail for their idea, but a captain who was an ex-Naval Infantry??
Where the hell does the Navy come into play in the Star Trek universe or am I just missing something?
If all the alliances fell apart, then why the heck would this mish-mash crew still be together?
If there where brawls and fights on the ship all the time and the EMH doctor was that corrupted and screwed up.... why the hell would they even let the ship leave space dock, and why the hell would Starfleet approve such an idea?
Afterall they'd have all these other alien races working together whom they no longer have alliances with and risk secrets being passed over from the various alien crews and vice versa with all the other alien empires with crew members on the ship.
It's written and explained like a fan concept..... badly.
I'd like to see a new ST series come out someday, but this would be at the bottom of the barrel for me.

Oh and perhaps some people in here should lay off the trashing and crapping all over the original poster.... not everybody is an 733t expert on Star Trek like some in here like to portray and they don't know or have any experience in the inner workings of film/tv production or web design to know what's "Official" and what's just designed to look professional. They might have just got into Star Trek recently and don't know all the background between CBS, Paramount or how they create their shows.
From what I read from the original poster, he/she just got into Star Trek recently, is 17 years old and while I have education and experience in graphic design, animation, film production, web design and a slew of other things.... when I was around that age and before I went to college to learn these things, I didn't know much of the differences either and I could see myself making a similar mistake.
So to those who want to pump their chest like they're some experts who are justified in shatting all over this guy/gal..... grow up and cut Tweezy some friggin slack will ya.

I'm not going to try to guess at what "nieve" means - it looks most like "naive" but nothing thumbtack said fits that characterization.

I'm fifteen years of age, and I'm all in with Kirk and Picard, infact I'd go as far as to say that Kirk's time was the best time - although I may resent that statement with further thought...

Sticking to the first post, I don't really like the sounds of this supposed 'new series'. Also I'd like to input that the ship looks horrible. It doesn't have the Starfleet look and sexy curves of a normal ship.
