I forgot something

-Absolutely no story focused on a child character, and no child actors with more then a background role

if the Daleks must come back give them a slight redesign
Why? There's absolutely nothing wrong with the RTD era design of the Daleks. The fact we're still using it a decade later and that an earlier attempt at re-designing led to one of the biggest misfires in the franchise's modern day history, there really is no compelling reason to re-design the Daleks, slight or otherwise.

Under Moffat's watch that's pretty much unlikely. Only 16 out of the 41 he's written don't involve children in a serious manner. And of those 16, at least one was going to feature a child in the early stages. The Day of the Doctor was originally going to feature a little girl as the Moment's personification as opposed to Rose.

I didn't know he had such an obsession with adding children. I remember when I was a kid, the last thing I wanted on a TV show was some kid showing up and stealing time from the cool characters, and nowadays I just find them really annoying (for the most part, there are always exceptions). Hopefully the next showrunner won't be so obsessed with shoehorning kids into Doctor Who.

As with any other kind of character kids can be good or they can be rubbish, it depends on how the role is written and how good an actor the kid is. It’s hard to imagine the show without Amelia Pond for example, and The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances is a great showcase for young actors, but there are plenty of terrible examples as well. So for me it would be a case of stopping hiring rubbish kids and/or writing rubbish child characters rather than dispensing with them altogether!

On a related note what even I, who as everyone knows clearly sits on the Team Moffat side of the aisle, has had enough of the Doctor encountering characters as kids! Reinette, Amy, Clara, Danny, River, Davros… Enough already. One of the things I like about Moffat is that he’s integrated the notion of the Doctor being a time traveller more into the series than any other showrunner, and yes it therefore makes sense that the Doctor would meet people out of order sometimes, but I think we can all agree it’s been done to death somewhat!

That said I hope the show doesn’t completely dispense with the mechanics of time travel. For a show about a time traveller there were precious few episodes pre Moffat where time was a plot point, where effect preceded cause, it (like Daleks) just needs to be used a lot more sparingly.
