I thought I might give a heads-up for the free download of the new NIN song Discipline. IIRC, there were some fans among the posters, so this might be of interest to them. If not, sorry for the disturbance and feel free to lock this, mods. Thank you.

I listened to it several times now and have to say that I'm not too enthusiastic. Normally I like repetitive stuff, but this one barely has some change of pace or climax. Also, the vocals are mixed in much too quiet.

What do you think?

Just downloaded it (thanks for the tip - free is good!) and I like it okay. Don't dislike it, nor is it one of those "Wow! I LOVE that song!" songs either.

I've only listened to it once however - I'll give it a few more plays and see how I feel then. Sometimes it takes me a few spins before I decided I really like something.

It's a decent "radio-safe" kind of single. Simple but catchy. The vocals are quiet in places, but that is classic Trent Reznor. Dude likes to whisper.
