I haven't read the comics, so I don't know how it is as an adaptation, but coming in with no prior knowledge this looks like a lot of fun. I'm definitely going to check it out.

It's been a few years since I read the comic, and while I don't remember that many details, I do remember enjoying it very much. That teaser actually jogged a few memories, in a good way, so I'm definitely giving this one a look.

I haven't seen the trailer or read the comic, but it's popped up as a recommendation on Netflix this evening for me.
It does sound interesting so I'll probably check it out in a bit.

Don't know the comics, didn't see any a trailer. A friend heard about it, she told me about it, I gave it a shot. First episode was awesome if you ask me. The way they filmed everyone dancing in their one seperate rooms was a gorgeous scene to watch.

Imma keep watching this.

Never read the comics, but the trailers got me, so I'll check this out once I get through some of the other stuff I'm watching.

I'm halfway through and I'm loving every minute of it. The show has a wonderfully eclectic collection of characters and I'm fascinated by all of the storylines and how they fit together with each other. The aesthetics often remind me of Legion and having Jeff Russo as the show's scorer helps with that sense (plus, I swear that swimming pool in the opening scene is the same one David was in).

As soon as I'm finished watching, I'm going to library to check out the trade paperbacks.

Finished the season and I loved it. I particularly enjoyed how...

...they kept thinking they averted the apocalypse and yet it kept coming. In fact, they never stopped it, only ran from it.

If there's a second season, I wonder how the casting will work. I haven't read the second volume but I'm guessing they'll be stuck in their child bodies for the duration of the story.

Halfway done.........enjoying much more than their previous Jones, Cage, Ironfist type comic adaptations. I do hope it continues!

Gerald Way the writer/creator has stated that the biggest influence on this piece of work is his favorite writer, Grant Morrison and his work on Doom Patrol with DC Comics.

Sounds like a Harry Potter/X-Men derivative. I've seen the trailer on Netflix, but it doesn't interest me.
Definitely a dysfunctional X-Men with the serial numbers filed off type of show. I went into it fairly skeptical, but was pleasantly surprised and ended up enjoying the ride. It's actually pretty well done. Might want to give it a go...

It's a shame the Doom Patrol series is on DC Universe in the US, from what I've seen the two shows look like they would go together really well. I just mean in terms of watching them together, not a crossover or anything like that.

What a fun first season! Not perfect by any means, but an entertaining distraction. It's gone into quite an interesting direction for the new season if it gets renewed. I was getting Wes Anderson vibes with the dysfunctional family, though in the vein of X-Men/Heroes. The use of music was key in punctuating a lot of vibrant scenes throughout.

Klaus was probably my favourite.
