By the way, a few months ago, I asked the Myr U cover artist, John Picacio, about the Thelin portrait on the cover of "Echoes and Refractions" and he said that it's based on two reference points: the TAS version of him, and a good friend of his, Jeff Lucas, "a diehard Trekkie connoisseur from way back", who had certain facial features that echoed the animated version.

I thought Thelin, as shown on that cover, looked like this guy.
