New making of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan book

Do the preview images on the Amazon page generally reflect the words:images ratio of most of the book? Just want to get a feel for what I can expect.

"Here, [director Nicholas] Meyer, [production designer Joseph] Jennings, and [art director Michael] Minor on the practical set they collaborated to create.”
Or alternatively, Nick Meyer consults with Herb Tarlek from WKRP and Trapper John from the 1970 movie M*A*S*H. ;)

Looks like Arte Johnson made off with the gadget from Sliders.

Sojin and Morey are characters that might be introduced later if we ever see a time-travel episode of the Starfleet Academy show…intercepting a few folks traveling back to the Mutara Nebula battle…flying unseen with Reliant

As of today, Oct 4, Amazon has an $8.10 coupon for this book, bringing the price down to $32.00
Not sure if it will get this low again.

At that price, I went ahead and bought a copy. It’s pretty dang good. There are image artifacts on some of the screengrabs used in the book, but it’s better looking than the TMP volume. The text is great, with only a handful of typos/misspellings, at least one of which comes from the source of the quote (I must have been a proofreader in a past life — they jump out at me!)

Recommended. If you like Wrath, you’ll like this book.
