Why is it that every other comedy that comes out of Hollywood these days stars Will Ferrell?

But in keeping with the topic a modern LOTL that treats itself seriously would work. I saw the original this past weekend and was surprised by how much it still delivers once you put aside the poor fx and some of the acting.

Agreed, it would be a really great film if Hollywood had spruced it up as a Lost World/ Well/E.R. Burroughs feel to it. A Pulp era kinda film.

Would've been a nice homage to such a film, much like the original Raiders of the Lost Ark was waaay back in the day
