New International One Sheet Poster

I'm guessing the poster is suppose to read "Earth will fall into darkness," and not "Earth will fall."

^^^^^^^^^^
Yeah, I can see that reading down the poster. Either way, pretty bleak. (Not that I'm complaining about that. It's intriguing, really. Let's see how our heroes get outta this one.)

From a graphic design standpoint, it's pretty awful. Bland and gray, nothing in the design that really says "Star Trek" instead of "Generic Action Movie" and the copy & paste smoke in the background is amateur hour.

Earth Will Fall (Into Darkness) ... an empty threat from Harrison or a fact? I wonder if this movie might have some serious repercussions after all!

It does lend credence to the idea that this will be a three-movie arc:

Movie 1: Timeline changes; Vulcan destroyed
Movie 2: Earth falls "into darkness"; things go down with Klingons
Movie 3: Repercussions from 2; some grand resolution?

Maybe at the end of STID, the Enterprise will restart its engines in time to whiplash out of Earth orbit and time travel back to some period. I doubt they'd do a "Naked Time" rip, however. Too much time travel already (esp. if STID involves Khan -- not technically time travel, sure, but not a "contemporary" villain).

not my kind of posters, especially for Trek...
but it's still better than Nemesis' though...

The third movie should start with 'Cupcake' in the shower...
