New freecredit.com commercial

I'm a big fan of the first three freecredit.com commercials. I thought they were fun, clever and the music was pretty cool. But this newest one, yikes! It totally sucks. The song is lame, the visuals stupid, riding around on bikes with dorky helmets on... just a total waste. They even stuck in the old lady from the pirate one, who had a brief funny moment with a dirty look, but here she's not funny at all. Anyone else really disappointed by this one?

God, I hate those spots. Not even bad enough to be fun.

Perfect examples of what people THINK passes as "rhyme" and isn't even close. And don't get me started on the scansion problems with the lyrics. It kills what's supposed to be the joke.

I love the band, but this new one is a bit of a let down. My favorite remains the "Dream Girl" commercial. By the way, there's a great parody of that one on YouTube:

Awesome.

Funny, in a morbid way.

To each his own. I enjoy the first three commercials very much.

The idea itself is not too bad, but the "F to the R to the yadda yadda" song is too grating to be enjoyable.

I love the first three, the pirate one the most.

That old lady is bobbing her head, enjoying the song, and then she is suddenly PISSED and glares at the camera.

Hilarious.

It's a very funny moment, I'd wager a spur of the moment look caught by accident and cleverly edited into the film. That's why I hate her appearence in the newest commercial. She's there, scowling, only to capitalize on her moment in the pirate commercial, which people loved. Anyone rememeber the "Where's the beef" commercial? It was very funny the first time, then they made several follow-up commercials and ran the joke into the ground.
