New (final?) Children of the Storm blurb

There's still no cover up on the S&S site, so I guess there is a chance that it might still change.

I don't think it's been announced what ship classes the Full Circle fleet will consist of. I've heard rumors of a Nebula-class being in there somewhere, but I was of the impression that the ships had to be narrow for slipstream reasons. Isn't the Nebula about twice as wide as the Vesta?

Apparently there are some Vestas AND Nebulas

Though Zero Sum Game would seem to indicate to me a Nebula wouldn't work with the technology since ship geometry is extremely important.

Thanks for the MB link, Matthias.

I do remember from ZSG that the Breen were having difficulties with slipstream due to ship geometry, but their ships are very assymetric to begin with; much less so than the wide Nebula, which at least has a fighting chance.

I am thinking that one of the Vestas creates a slipstream, and creates a "starter hole" for larger ships to go through with greater ease and reliability, but one of the authors might wish to speak further about that.
