New Family Guy spin off announced - "The Cleveland Show"

Yeah I remember reading about this several weeks ago...as much as I'd like to think this has possibilities the premise sounds horrible. I think Cleveland is an underrated character but I doubt he could carry an entire series. It would be much funner to see him move to American Dad and become Stan's neighbour...there's some potential with that idea I think. Remember this was probably part of Seth McFarland's new $100 MILLION dollar multi-year deal that he signed with Fox recently. Fox seems to have the trust in Seth.

Slightly OT, but out of curiosity, what are the ratings for American Dad like? Great? Good? Decent? Mediocre? Verge of Cancellation? My guess is they're not quite as good as Family Guy.

Incidentally, both FG and AD are great, although FG is still better. But this Cleveland Show looks bad, largely because Cleveland is the most boring semi-major character on FG.

If I recall correctly, AD does about 2 mil less than FG. I think FG gets like 8 mil and AD gets like 6 mil, something like that.

They're not as good as FG, but better than King of the Hill which is still being renewed (despite a blip a few years ago).
