I know I risk sounding like I'm a warmonger which contrasts against what the Federation in the Star Trek series stands for, but does anybody think the new Star Trek movie features the Enterprise using its weaponry and what hits on its shields will look like?

I do know that it will be mega kewl...
Captain Pike telling Kirk to fire all weapons in the trailer tells me the Enterprise will be firing it's weapons. As far as the shield hits go I think I read somewhere that they were not going with the shield bubble, but rather something similar to what we saw in Nemesis. Where only the area on the shields impacted flare up.
