New DTI novels

How likely is it, that there will be more stories? It seems unlikely that any would be in conflict with PIC, but maybe DSC.

I'd say unlikely. The novels are shifting towards focusing mostly on tie-ins to the current produced TV shows or TOS novels that pretty much rules out DTI. Indeed, as being covered in the other thread, all the novel-only series aren't likely to see any more additions now.

It would be nice if one investigated odd happenings with Romulus, Vulcan and the disappearance of Ambassador Spock...

I'm still trying to be optimistic that at least some of the Novelverse series will be allowed to continue, but even if some do, I could see series that aren't as directly connected to the TV series, like DTI, not continuing. So no matter what the future of the novels is, I'd say the future of DTI is not looking good.

Interestingly the DTI series could be used as a plot device to tie Picard and the relaunch novels together somehow.

I'm not entirely sure how he does it but Christopher has a way in his storytelling abilities to make a square peg fit in a round hole...and in a way that makes perfect sense (Greg Cox is pretty good at that as well).

But realistically, no, I don't see that happening. I would love to be proved wrong but from purely a marketing perspective (with current running shows AND fewer novels each year), I just don't see it as a likely possibility.
