Hmm...Has the Doctor ever had a parrot or a monkey as a companion? They could let the animal have a telepathic link with the Doc and dub in witty comments and asides.

Maybe part of the problem is that I don't even find Lily Allen attractive? So I don't fancy her and she annoys me...hmm... Whilst the idea of Billie might have spooked people she had at least had some high profile acting roles before she did Who.
I dunno, there just seems to be this perception that the Beeb are intent on making Lily a TV star, they gave her her own chat show for goodness sake! They might as well make Charlotte Church the new companion (I at least fancy her!)
