Will be doing research into the Earth's magnetic field and near space atmosphere.

The last BAS station filmed its very own horror movie.

The world retires hundreds of airliners every year, so I wonder if it would be feasible to modify them into well-insulated structures and land them deep in Antarctica instead of a desert bone yard?
