As much as DSC gets the Klingon look wrong it gets Andorians right. Commander Shran would be proud of the job you've done, Pink Skins!
I think shukar is a man of action, he would not let his men run risk without being with to them. he is a true AndorianI don't get it. If Shukar is an Admiral, why was he part of the boarding party that secured Discovery's bridge, but Cornwell had to wait until the bridge was secured? For that matter, why did Cornwell even need to board the ship, as an Admiral Shukar could have locked down the bridge consoles himself instead of yelling at everyone to stand clear of their stations and waited for Cornwell to beam aboard and do so.
Okay, I've got to admit that I've only read pages 1-7 and then the current page here, but unless someone hit on it in-between, I feel like the lead is being buried here. That Vulcan all the way to the left - is that Mirror Spock?! He looks a good bit like both Nimoy and the actor they got to play teen Spock while he was fingering Saavik in Star Trek III.![]()
The Tellarite looks a bit more Tellarite-y from the side IMO.
Hadn't notice that before. That would be an interesting way to bring Spock in.Okay, I've got to admit that I've only read pages 1-7 and then the current page here, but unless someone hit on it in-between, I feel like the lead is being buried here. I would agree.Pretty sure Burnham would have recognized him if that was Spock.
Plus Mirror Spock would probably be in Starfleet at this point.
This point is very valid, and pretty much settles the matter, so never mind.Pretty sure Burnham would have recognized him if that was Spock.
If it didn't, though, I'm not sure this one would - perhaps it could have been that it's another species redesign for the series that Vulcans look adolescent for longer, like Elves. Maybe he IS in the Terran Starfleet - just on leave or something.Mirror Spock would probably be in Starfleet at this point.
Okay, but why didn't he lockdown Discovery's computers? That would seem more efficient than holding the bridge crew at gunpoint and waiting for Cornwell to beam aboard and lockdown the computers.
Nicely recovered from that tonsillectomy, I see.Shukar looks great in his admiral's uniform

continuing the trend set by ariam of pairing a starfleet uniform with gloves (so the makeup department doesn't have to do their hands).Shukar looks great in his admiral's uniform

Got to keep those hands cold.continuing the trend set by ariam of pairing a starfleet uniform with gloves (so the makeup department doesn't have to do their hands).
Tellarite/human hybrid. Done.Could be worse. In "Whom Gods Destroy(TOS)" the Tellarite inmate on Elba II had human hands. They couldn't even be bothered with all the Season 3 budget cutbacks to make a Tellarite's hands look alien.
