New Andorians

I thought both the new Andorians and Tellarites looked great. They looked more alien than the earlier incarnations, but recognizable as the classic Trek species.

I hate to say it, but the new look for the Klingons is actually growing on me (in a figurative sense, not literal... :)).

The Andorian looked fine. I liked the new look of the Tellarite better than previous appearances.

Must be a pain in the rear being Mirror Universe SPock though, having to side-step the whole "Isn't your dad a rebel leader?" thing

In a comic, he ended up executing his parents, so that might be part of his story.

He probably betrayed him and that's why Sarek is on the run.

And the Tellarites now look more like the annoying prisoner from "Canamar".

I love the updated Tellarites, but I don't like the facial prosthetics for the Andorians. I'm fine with it in theory, I just thought this particular design wasn't successful because it looks more mask-like. The more minimal Andorian design of Enterprise feels more authentically alive when you're watching it.

And they have blue skin and antennae! You don't need to keep adding things to make it feel alien. Reminds me of that famous Coco Chanel aphorism, before leaving the house look in the mirror and remove one thing...

(Mostly though, I'm just happy to see an Andorian! I love them)

Subtle movement but not as pronounced as in Enterprise.

Too soon to tell if that’s a new norm or a variation.

Kinda weird we're only seeing these classic aliens in the mirror universe and (Vulcans and Klingons aslide), it's been 100% new aliens in the regular Discoverse thus far.
