The Tellarite "reimagining" is pretty unimaginative IMHO. Those silly tusks glued on the cheeks make him look like another one of those TNG (and VOY) Nausicaans/Chalnoth/Kradin type aliens (but bald) we’ve had on Trek since 20-30 years ago.

They look like the makeup department couldn't decide between Andorian or Cromagnum so just mashed the two together then added beaded starfish eyebrows just because.
Instead of majestic like the Enterprise Andorians the whole thing makes them look like that should be at a kids birthday party.
