They look like the makeup department couldn't decide between Andorian or Cromagnum so just mashed the two together then added beaded starfish eyebrows just because.
Instead of majestic and dangerous like the Enterprise Andorians the whole thing makes them look like they should be at a kids birthday party.
The Andorians look fine.
As for the Tallerites, I already told them we'd take care of this at the back of the high school gym.

Not seeing it. The new makeup looks fine, well in keeping with plausible variations compared to ENT. Far, far less jarring than the Klingons (though, frankly, I don’t care even one tiny bit about their new look either).
I think the make ups are more than OK. I prefer those Tellarites. But suddenly I'm curious about a Discovery Nausicaan

As for the Klingons: I really like the design it has grown on me. My only problem is that they don't have hair. Beside that I think they are a good redesign too

I prefer their Tellarite to ENT. Just sayin'. ENT made them look like space dogs, when they're at least some degree of pig-like. On the Andorians....just no. The Tellarite takes the concept and makes it cooler and realer. The Andorian is "fixing" what ain't broke, and the needless alterations are just that, and do not look good. Its the eyebrows.
That Tellarite is horrible. Just count how many fingers he has.

the Andorians looked too Human in ENT IMO.
Those were the only people that showed up for the auditions.
The Andorians look great. I also liked how they looked in ENT but this is a nice visual upgrade. I'm also really digging the tellarites. I was never a fan of how they looked in TOS and ENT, I like the kind of wild boar aspect the new tellarites have going on.
I'm digging them both. The Tellarite is certainly more skilfully designed than the one in ENT with the droopy circular eye sockets, this looks much more like a space boar for me. As for the Andorian, I've found the mini-antennae above the eyes a bit weird first but they don't look bad. I look at the make-up and the first thing that comes to my mind is 'Andorian', so everything's all right. Both are much less jarring for me than the Klingons were at first, but even they grew on me (of course, they'd look much better with hair and eyebrows IMO, but that's it). I generally like the make-up work on Discovery, so just give me moving antennae on the Andorians and I'll be the happiest little potato.
All the new aliens look awesome. The updated Andorian is my favorite. Glad they covered his ears. That always bothered me about ENT Andorians. Can't wait to watch it.
I'm hoping that the Andorian and Tellarite are named Shras and Gav, respectively.
