Netflix vs DVD's

I'm not sure if it's been brought up, but I'm watching The Man Trap on CBS All-Access this morning, and the copy they're streaming is devoid of all sound effects tracks, with only music and dialogue remaining. Anyone else notice this happening before?

DVD and Blu-ray will always be better than streaming for picture and sound quality. Also, when you use a streaming service, you're just borrowing it. I prefer to own my Star Trek.

True. I also own the full original and animated series on DVD. Streaming is more convenient in that I can watch it on my apple TV, Mac, iPad, or iPhone.

Streaming is definitely more convenient and I typically will use a streaming service if I can't be bothered to swap discs and whatnot. But if I want a special Star Trek experience, I set myself up in the living room on the big screen and pop in some physical media.
